Sourced from the highly regarded tea fields of Yame City in Fukuoka, Japan, this ceremonial-grade matcha is made from a blend of two premium cultivars: Okumidori and Saemidori. Carefully shade-grown, hand-picked, and stone-milled, this matcha is designed for traditional preparation and pure enjoyment — no sweeteners or milk needed.

This matcha is full-bodied with a smooth, creamy texture and low bitterness. It has a deep umami-rich base with vegetal, nutty undertones, balanced by a natural sweetness that lingers on the finish. The aroma is fresh and green, and the color is a bright, vibrant jade.

Okumidori: Known for its strong umami, deep green color, and rich, savory flavor. It adds depth, body, and a long finish to the matcha.

Saemidori: Adds balance with its soft sweetness, light floral notes, and smooth mouthfeel. It helps round out the stronger qualities of Okumidori for a more approachable, well-rounded cup.

Ideal for those who enjoy matcha on its own or as part of a daily tea ritual. Best prepared using a traditional bamboo whisk for a smooth, frothy finish.

Steeping Direction

Traditional Method (Usucha – Thin Style):
1. Sift 1 gram (about ½ teaspoon) of matcha into a bowl to remove clumps.

2. Add 2 ounces of hot water (160–175°F / 70–80°C). Avoid boiling water to preserve flavor.

3.Whisk briskly in an “M” or “W” motion using a bamboo chasen (whisk) until frothy and smooth on top.

Enjoy immediately.

Optional: For a thicker (koicha) preparation, use 2 grams of matcha with less water and whisk slowly without froth.
